Thunder Take 11.5

The Oklahoma City Thunder lost their second straight game last night. After starting off the season with three straight wins coming against the Spurs, the Magic, the Nuggets they then lost on the road at Houston and at home last night to Toronto. The loss upset a lot of Thunder fans for the main fact that they were leading late and could not close the game out again for the second straight game. It's was only November 4th, but Thunder fans remember they missed the playoffs by only one game a season ago and that all 82 games do matter. Especially when you compete the NBA Western Conference.

Kevin Durant and Russel Westbrook were the high scorers for the Thunder with 27 and 22. Westbrook had 16 assists on the night and 10 in the first half. Enes Kanter came off the bench and had 15 points and 6 boards in 17 minutes. While Steven Adams the man who starts over Kanter had 10 points, 7 boards, and four blocks in 27 minutes. Here's a look at Westbrook highlights against the Raptors via the NBAHighlightsDaily youtube account.

Thunder couldn't stop Toronto guard DeMare DaRozan who lit up the Thunder for 28 points half of those coming from the free throw line. Following DaRozan in scoring was Kyle Lowry and Jonas Valanciunas with 17 points a piece. But it was DaRozan who came up clutch down the stretch willing his team to the victory and moving to 5-0 on the season as the Thunder fall 3-2. OKC returns to action tonight when they take on the Chicago Bulls in the Windy City as they wrap up this four games in five nights span.
